Is Factino invoicing software for Morocco?
Yes. Prepare quotes, invoices and credit notes in MAD, enter company identifiers and track payments. Have your accountant check your tax regime and the invoice details required for your activity.
Is the 30-day free trial available on every plan?
Yes. Starter, Business and Pro each begin with 30 free days, with no bank card required. The trial is granted once per account; changing plans does not start a new trial.
Is Factino free indefinitely?
No. Factino offers a 30-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. Each plan’s prices and limits are shown on the pricing page.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Without an active subscription, new entries are restricted. Existing documents remain available to view, download and export. No payment is taken automatically.
Do I need to install an app?
Factino runs in a browser with an internet connection. The website adapts to mobile screens; there is no native app or offline mode.
What should I check when choosing small business or freelance invoicing software in Morocco?
Compare the documents, continuous numbering, payment tracking, exports, permissions and annual costs your business needs. Freelancers do not all share one legal structure or tax treatment: confirm your own setup with your accountant. Use the 30-day trial to test your workflow before issuing real invoices.
Can I use Factino on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Use the same account on your devices through an internet-connected browser. Factino does not offer offline synchronisation or a native mobile app.

Your quotes and invoices
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
Yes. An issued quote can be converted into an invoice draft. Check the details before issuing the invoice and assigning its number.
Can I choose a PDF invoice design?
Yes. Choose from five designs: Classic, Professional practice, Retail, Workshop and Studio. They retain the same invoicing information. These are visual layouts; no DGI approval is claimed.
How does invoice numbering work in Factino?
Before issuing your first invoice, choose a prefix, number format and minimum number of digits. The counter continues across year changes. The settings are then locked to protect the sequence. Any starting number above 1 must be documented.
Can I change an invoice that has already been issued?
The issued PDF and its data remain preserved. To correct all or part of an invoice, create a credit note linked to the original document, using the appropriate approach checked with your accountant.
DGI compliant invoicing software Morocco: what should you verify?
Check the Moroccan rules applicable to your activity and tax regime with your accountant, using the CGI, DGI publications and the Official Bulletin. Factino does not claim DGI approval or certification. Its PDF layouts are visual designs; direct DGI transmission and qualified electronic signatures are not activated. Generic UBL 2.1 export does not establish acceptance by DGI.
Can I download invoices as UBL XML?
Yes. Issued invoices and credit notes can be exported as generic UBL 2.1 files, validated against official OASIS XSD schemas. Amounts come from the archived version. Check compatibility with the recipient’s profile; no file is transmitted to DGI.
What invoice information should I prepare in Morocco: ICE, IF, RC and TP?
Prepare your company’s identity, address and applicable identifiers, including ICE, IF, RC and professional tax details. Add customer details, dates, line items, taxes, totals and payment terms. This checklist does not replace checking the mandatory information for your legal status, sector and transaction.
How do I configure VAT on invoices?
Factino provides tax rules and effective dates. Ask your accountant to confirm the rates and exemption wording applicable to each transaction. The software calculates from your settings; it does not determine your tax regime or file your returns.
Do PDF invoices and UBL XML files serve the same purpose?
PDF provides a readable presentation of a document. UBL 2.1 is a structured format for exchanging data between systems. Factino offers both for issued invoices and credit notes. Generic XML export does not establish DGI transmission, recipient acceptance or certification.
How do I correct an error or record a refund on an invoice?
Keep the issued invoice and use a linked credit note for the appropriate full or partial correction. Check the tax treatment and payments with your accountant. Changing the PDF design or logo does not alter the version already issued.
Can I continue my invoice sequence when switching software?
Prepare your latest invoice references and document the starting point before issuing your first invoice in Factino. The counter and number format are then locked. Bulk import and renumbering historical records are not available; arrange the transition with your accountant.

Your organization
Can I manage multiple companies?
Yes, within your plan limits and the access you have been granted. Each company has its own data, members and settings. The number of companies included is shown in the pricing details.
Can I give my accountant access?
Invite a collaborator and set their company permissions, within your plan’s member limit. CSV exports help exchange data; Factino does not replace general accounting software.
Which languages are available?
The company workspace supports French, English and Arabic, with right-to-left layout for Arabic. Administration and PDF documents remain mainly in French.
Can I import all my Excel files?
Bulk Excel or CSV import is not currently available. Plan a gradual transfer of records and have numbering continuity checked before issuing any real invoice.
Does Factino replace accounting and tax filing?
No. Factino organises invoicing, payments and CSV exports for working with your accountant. It does not perform general accounting, bank reconciliations or tax filing.
Can I manage inventory and supplier purchases?
Yes. Supplier purchases, payments, delivery notes and product stock tracking are available. Deliveries reduce tracked stock; receipts and adjustments are recorded explicitly with a reason.
Can I email invoices or share them on WhatsApp?
Email sending requires an SMTP or SendGrid provider configured and enabled by the administrator. You can also download a PDF and share it manually. No WhatsApp integration or automated sending through WhatsApp is advertised.

Payments and developments
Can I track partial payments?
Yes. Record amounts received against an invoice and track its remaining balance. Payment tracking does not provide an automatic bank connection.
How do I pay for my Factino subscription?
Enabled payment methods appear in your workspace at checkout. Bank transfers require confirmation of receipt; Stripe depends on its configuration. CMI remains in preparation. All payments are annual: every customer receives 50% off the first year, followed by the standard annual price from year two. The welcome offer has no end date. Prices include tax, and renewal is not automatic.
Are payment reminders automatic?
Reminders can be enabled per company after the email service and scheduler are configured. Permissions and sending controls still apply. Contact the team to check availability.
Does Factino send invoices to DGI?
No, not currently. DGI transmission and qualified electronic signatures remain in preparation. Generic UBL 2.1 export is available separately, without any claim of administrative acceptance. No universal regulatory timetable or official approval is announced here.
Can I connect Factino to my tools?
The Pro plan provides company-scoped API keys with permissions and expiry dates, plus signed outbound webhooks. This does not provide a ready-made connection to every application.
Do the displayed monthly prices mean I pay monthly?
No. They are monthly equivalents for comparing plans. Subscriptions are paid in one instalment for 12 months. The first-year total and annual renewal amount are shown before payment.
Does the 50% discount apply again at renewal?
No. Each customer receives the discount once, for their first year after the 30-day trial. The welcome offer has no end date for new customers; later years use the stated standard annual price.
Do prices include tax, and is renewal automatic?
Factino prices are final MAD amounts including tax, with no additional VAT added to the displayed total. Payment and renewal are not automatic. Check the annual amount and available payment methods in your workspace.
Does Factino automatically collect payments for my customers’ invoices?
Tracking your customers’ payments is separate from paying your Factino subscription. You record the amounts received against your invoices. Subscription payment methods do not provide a payment gateway for your customers.

Data & security
How do I protect my account and access to my companies?
Use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication. Company access depends on invitations and permissions. Important actions are recorded in an activity log. Do not share login credentials with colleagues.
How do I get the documents my accountant needs?
Download issued PDFs, available CSV exports and UBL files for issued invoices and credit notes. Confirm the required format with your accountant and keep your own copies. Exports do not provide a ready-made connection to every accounting application.
Is Factino’s archiving certified?
Factino retains issued document versions and their archived data. It does not claim certified archiving, qualified electronic signatures or DGI approval. Review your document-retention process against the obligations applicable to your activity.
Where can I get help before choosing a plan?
Email [email protected] with your activity and the workflows you want to test. Do not send a password or API key. For tax or regulatory decisions, involve your accountant and consult official Moroccan sources.

Orders & deliveries
Are these customer orders or supplier purchase orders?
This feature covers customer orders. Received supplier invoices and payments are managed in Purchases & expenses; a supplier purchase-order workflow is not advertised here.
Read the feature guide · Customer orders →Does conversion immediately issue an invoice?
No. It creates or opens a draft. Check the information, payment instructions and preparation checks before issuing the invoice through the usual workflow.
Read the feature guide · Customer orders →Can I deliver part of a source order?
The current workflow carries over the complete order and prevents a second delivery from the same source. Automatic partial deliveries and backorder calculations are not offered in this version.
Read the feature guide · Delivery notes →Does a free-text line reduce stock?
No. Automatic outgoing movements apply to lines linked to a catalogue product with stock tracking enabled. Check the selected product before issuing the note.

Purchases & stock
Can I record several payments for a purchase?
Yes. Partial payments are linked to the supplier invoice and reduce its balance. Enter the payment date, method and a reference when required.
Read the feature guide · Purchases & suppliers →Does recording a purchase add stock immediately?
No. Record the receipt in Stock using the actual quantity received and a reason. You can link it to the purchase for context. Payment and receipt are separate events.
Read the feature guide · Purchases & suppliers →Do invoices change my stock?
No. Outgoing quantities are linked to delivery notes for tracked products. This separation avoids counting a sale twice across ordering, invoicing and delivery.
Read the feature guide · Stock management →Are low-stock alerts emailed?
The screen shows low-stock or out-of-stock status based on the configured threshold. This version does not advertise automatic replenishment-alert emails.
Read the feature guide · Stock management →Do invoices update stock automatically?
No. An invoice is not proof of delivery. Stock decreases on delivery notes for tracked products; receipts and adjustments are recorded separately with a reason and history.

Settlement & collections
Does a deposited cheque mark the invoice as paid?
No. Deposit and settlement are separate. After verification, manual confirmation records the payment and updates the invoice or purchase balance.
Read the feature guide · Cheques & bills →Can I cancel a confirmed settlement by changing its status?
No. A confirmed settlement is not rewritten by a simple status change. Check details before confirming; an accounting error needs appropriate review and treatment with your accountant.
Read the feature guide · Cheques & bills →Does a payment promise change the balance?
No. It supports customer follow-up. Only recorded payments and linked credit notes change the amounts used in the balance.
Read the feature guide · Receivables & collections →Can I choose how to prioritise receivables?
Yes. Sort by overdue age or outstanding amount, then open the invoice and record the action taken.

Import & sharing
Does import update existing records?
No. Detected duplicates are skipped without overwriting. Import creates missing records; it is not continuous synchronisation with Excel.
Read the feature guide · Excel & CSV import →Can I import historical invoices with this tool?
This workflow covers customers and products. Historical invoices, numbers, payments and opening stock are not imported through this form. Prepare numbering continuity and stock movements separately.
Read the feature guide · Excel & CSV import →Is the QR added to existing invoice PDFs?
No. The QR is available on the sharing page. Previously issued PDFs retain their archived version. The QR is not a DGI acceptance stamp.
Read the feature guide · WhatsApp & QR sharing →Does the recipient need a Factino account?
No. The link opens the PDF during its validity period. Anyone it is forwarded to can also use it. Revoke it if sharing was unintended.
Read the feature guide · WhatsApp & QR sharing →Can I import customers and products from Excel?
Yes. CSV UTF-8 and XLSX are accepted, up to 500 rows and 2 MB. Download the template, review the preview and confirm within 15 minutes. Errors block confirmation; duplicates are skipped without overwriting existing records.
Read the feature guide · Excel & CSV import →Can I share an invoice on WhatsApp?
Yes, using a share link you explicitly create. It expires after 7 days and can be revoked. Anyone holding the link can read the PDF. The QR points to the archived-version check, without DGI certification or a qualified signature. No WhatsApp message is sent automatically.

VAT & summaries
Does the register automatically calculate my VAT return?
No. It organises manually approved entries. Review your tax treatment, period, exclusions and evidence with your accountant; Factino does not file a return for you.
Read the feature guide · VAT review register →Is all VAT on paid purchases automatically deductible?
No. Payment is one part of the check, not complete validation. The register requires explicit review and caps the recorded amount; the authorised user must still check eligibility for the transaction.
Read the feature guide · VAT review register →Are summaries enabled automatically?
No. Both frequencies are off by default. Choose to enable them for each company once the email service and owner address are ready.
Read the feature guide · Email business summaries →Does the summary show my profit?
No. It presents invoicing, payment, purchase and receivables indicators. They do not replace complete accounting or your accountant’s profit calculation.
Read the feature guide · Email business summaries →Is purchase VAT deducted automatically?
No. An authorised user must check eligibility, period, exclusions and evidence before approving the entry. Factino limits the amount to the paid portion not already retained. The register supports accounting review and does not file a tax return.
